For the second straight year, Joseph J. Brophy was selected as a Super Lawyer in the New York Metropolitan area in the field of Personal Injury/Medical Malpractice. Super Lawyers is a listing of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have been recognized by their colleagues as having the highest degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Super Lawyers has a rigorous selection process; only five percent of all lawyers in each state are eligible for consideration, and far fewer are selected [see www.superlawyers.com]. Brophy was one of only two lawyers in his practice area in Westchester to achieve this distinction in 2008. (10/08).
